Great find, sent to me by a friend. A listing for a snowmobile on Kijiji, like many of the great CL ads out there, it’s not only reasonably priced, but has some fantastic features. Check it here:

I’ve always wanted to give a snowmobile a try. Not much use for one in VA.

Wow, they are fun. Basically like a dirtbike but with a much lower CG and you get to slide around everywhere and jump stuff because snow is soft and slippery. Also, the whole world becomes like a giant playground every time it snows. I had a 700 and it would do 100mph on a flat lake, no problem. I commuted to work on it actually, some of the time. Nothing like touching 100mph across a frozen lake to wake you up in the morning.

I think that add goes up there with the used yoga mat and the ‘Murica Jeep CL ads for greatest of all time. Though I will admit I don’t know how much “poon” I will “drowning” in as I can’t compute from metric to standard distances... I imagine it is still a lot though...

I like to think of it as a jetski, but with hills and trees and actual changing scenery! Also, nobody I want to be friends with would ever hate the smell of 2-stroke exhaust!

Snowmobiling is why I never understand jetskis, at least not on a small lake. In the ocean, yeah maybe.
And yeah I do like the 2-stroke smell. Of course, they’re running cleaner than ever now, and some are going 4-stroke, too!

I always get bored on a jetski after like 5 minutes. A huge part of why snowmobiling is awesome is the scenery! Running a deer trail in the mountain wilderness on a brisk January day is heaven. Trying not to get run over by a bunch of drunks in a party barge on 4th of July weekend... not so much!

Exactly. The only reason I ever wanted a jetski was for wakeskating, they are great for that in part because you can turn around so fast and wakeskating is a lot of falling. Or tow-in surfing, if that’s your thing...
